About the site
This website deals with historic places of worship across the world, the majority of them in Manitoba, Canada. About 35 years ago, Tyrrell Mendis noticed Manitoba churches falling into disrepair, or just disappearing. So, encouraged and assisted by his wife, he began to photograph them to create a visual record before they were gone for good. It is an ongoing project, with the ultimate goal of publishing a book.
