Saltcoats is a small town beside Anderson Lake (Saltcoats Lake) in east-central Saskatchewan near the Manitoba border. The town’s population is around 500. It was built in the late 1800s, and was the first village to be incorporated in what was then the Northwest Territories.

There are two churches in Saltcoats: St. Augustine Anglican and Saltcoats United.
